Important technologic advances are also discussed, including image-guided surgery, robotic surgery, and tissue-engineered and prefabricated approaches. Finally, the current status of facial transplantation for maxillofacial reconstruction is reviewed. This volume is intended for both trainees and practicing surgeons.
